This Norwegian set is made up of five continental size pieces which means they are larger in size, considerably heavier and feel beautiful in the hand. We love setting a table with one-of-a-kind utensils like these to give a beautiful eclectic feel to the dining table decor.

Flatware is made in sizes known as continental, place, and luncheon. Continental flatware is the longest length, also known as European size. Continental flatware is generally a half-inch longer than place-size flatware and an inch longer than luncheon size. Standard refers the sizes of flatware commonly used with American table settings. However, for a more formal look, the “continental” flatware sizes (also referred to as “dinner” sizes) are larger and heavier than the standard. These are usually found in European flatware collections.
